  1. This is interesting. I have never heard of this educational approach, but I'd like to think I agree with it. I was homeschooled growing up, but my mom read many books to my siblings (4 of them) and me, and every chapter she would stop and ask one of us to narrate what she had read. This engaged our focus and minds, and helped us begin to naturally develop critical thinking.
